Notion 2.0

If you are unfamiliar with the Notion software platform (notion.so), it was initially designed as a wiki and note-taking tool that could be used in a web browser. However, it quickly developed into a multipurpose platform that was incredibly flexible and attracted a lot of users thanks to its generous free plan.

Nowadays, you roll your eyes and sigh when you see phrases like "now improved with AI," preparing to read yet another tale about the "wonderful powers of AI." But with Notion AI, I see a pretty quiet and wholly useful idea rather than a loud promise of magical fireworks.

You are prompted to "Type'space' for Al, '/' for commands' on every new text line." I pressed the spacebar and questioned Notion AI about its updated features. The response is:

In the last couple of days Notion introduced 2.0 !!

with a whole flurry of updates, changes and new kinky features primarily focused around quality of app improvements that could be really helpful and appreciated by everyone

Let's go through them all;

page & workspace analytics

This helps you get an overview of how your your audience is interacting with previous and current/existing content on your workspace —with views, viewers, and editor information

no more asking questions like what content do participants are mostly searching for?

and not to mention the frequency in the last 28-90 days

honing in on such key information like these is definitely a step in the right direction.

Note this also extends to workspaces Which is quite extremely useful for teams

And this is really beneficial in getting to know stats like whose the most/least interactive person inside of certain spaces

so from your analytics and settings this time you'd be able to see a full complete breakdown of all what you're team is working on and how frequently they are viewing certain information

Better notifications

Now for a more seemingly smaller update notion have made improvements changes to the notification area which definitely looks alot better

Now You'll only receive and filternotifications when you're mentioned or someone replies to your edit

Bulk editing

This feature makes it super easy to make bulk changes to multiple entries at a glance by selecting multiple rows in a table view and editing them all at once. sleek!!
