MidJourney is Coming to the Web

The AI image maker with the goal of "increasing the imagination powers of the human species," Midjourney has swiftly become one of the internet's most eye-catching tools, producing phony images of the former president Donald Trump getting imprisoned and Pope Francis donning a fashionable suit. David Holz, a co-founder of Leap Motion, started the company in July 2022.

Until now Midjourney was not a web application, in contrast to DALLE 2 or DALLE Mini. Moreover, no coding is necessary.

Instead, you converse with a bot in the well-known chat program Discord. For those who are new, Discord is quite similar to Slack and functions similarly on desktop and mobile devices by working in your browser and as a standalone app.

Because you communicate with the bot in a crowded public chatroom where everyone is likewise doing the same thing as you, this is extremely hectic for free/trial users. That is about to be a thing of the past!! The web version of MJ is now in private beta!!

The first thing you notice is that the UX/UI of the setting is incredibly pleasant and that it closely resembles the Discord experience. Simply put, it's more practical.
