Firstly, lets clear up one thing. I had no idea what a Diorama even was before seeing it pop up all over my LinkedIn feed so who better to ask than Mr ChatGPT him/herself.
A diorama is a three-dimensional model or miniature scene, often enclosed in a glass case, that depicts a specific setting or event. Dioramas are typically created on a small scale, with detailed representations of buildings, landscapes, and other objects. They are often used for educational or display purposes, to help viewers understand and visualize a particular historical event, natural environment, or other concept. Dioramas can be created using a variety of materials, including cardboard, clay, and plastic, and may include lighting and other special effects to enhance the realism of the scene.
Now that is cleared up, lets talk about how this has become a huge thing over on LinkedIn. LinkedIn I hear you shout! Only boomers and people over 40 use that and alas you are mostly correct but there is a blooming Ai scene over there that just can't be ignored and #diaramatuesday is its talisman and the brainchild of Creator of Software and AI enthusiast Jonathan I.

It's Diorama Tuesday! Welcome to a tour of winter birdhouses. All of these fine feathered friends can be found here in St. Louis, Missouri, USA. Not all of them stay here in the winter though.
The eagles will be passing through here in January and we'll be making several trips to the river to see them. The hummingbirds are far south already enjoying sunny weather. We just started seeing gold finches and chickadees in our neighborhood. The blue jays, cardinals, and crows stick around all year and are all common in our backyard. The barn owls and blue birds aren't around our neighborhood but are common outside of the city and county limits.
Here's your birdwatcher's checklist:
1. Blue Jays
2. American Gold Finches
3. Barn Owls
4. Ruby Throated Humming Birds
5. Bald Eagles
6. Northern Cardinals
7. Eastern Bluebirds
8. Chickadees
9. American Crow

#DioramaTuesday as inspired by Jonathan I. …
My diorama today is Soloman’s Temple. A marvel of ancient architecture that MJ just simply can’t do justice too. Materials for construction were collected by Israel’s Psalm writing, music playing, warrior, shepherd king - David, and built by his son Soloman.

We're at the intersection of "stay stuck" and "fly fast".
Here are some of my thoughts on the matter:
1. Is it stealing?
Whenever I set out to begin a project, I do research. I look at ArtStation and artist's blogs for inspiration. I stylize my art after my greatest influences like Tim Burton or René Magritte. Am I stealing? My art directly reflects an accumulation of my interpretation of their art and a conglomeration of everything I've ever seen online or in film. 🤔 Personally, I feel that Ai art can speed up the process. I'm still the weird human brain behind the Prompt asking for a "🔮 dmt diorama of the all seeing eye"... Did I steal this?
2. My grandmother was a switchboard operator. She is currently unemployed 😄 ok, ok, so she's retired anyways... But my point is, that her entire career no longer exists. Technology has replaced her. The portrait painter was mad at the photographer, just as the photographer was mad at the photoshop artist...
3. Can we stop it even if we wanted to?
Short answer is no. There is no stopping the Ai train. The benefits far outweigh the consequences. At this point you'd have about as much success in turning off the internet or stopping people from using electricity. It's here to stay.
4. Embrace it! Think of ways this can improve your daily tasks. Think of the possibilities and the opportunities it will create! There's no longer a barrier to enter the art realm. The 5th grader with the wild imagination and no drawing skills can now show all of us the creative wonders swirling around in their brain. No expensive formal training needed.
Conclusion. Don't stay stuck. Let's fly!
